Tibco spotfire trial version add a new server

Check the windows firewalls to allow tibco spotfire Program.

 

The Error occurs

 

"https://tryspotfire.tibco.com/."  or "http://ts33server.spotfire.com:8008 "

 

I recieve a "Can't find a server" error

 

Error message: Cannot connect to the specified server.

 

In case that the client is a windows machine, a possible reason could be that the tls or ssl protocol required by the service is not activated.

 

This can be set in:

 

Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Internet Options -> Advanced

 

Scroll settings down to "Security" and choose between

 

Use SSL 2.0

 

Use SSL 3.0

 

Use TLS 1.0

 

Use TLS 1.1

 

Use TLS 1.2
