Is it possible to install 2 spotfire server in the same host

Due to an application requirement that opens a spotfire file through a URL (Web Player Integration), a proxy has to be configured in the server.xml configuration file. As far as I understand, only one proxy can be configured, but we have the necesitty of using 2 proxys for different databases. Is it possible to install 2 spotfire servers in the same wondows host, so each server uses its own proxy configuration I tried but spotfire detects that spotfire is already installed.

Technically it should be possible to run 2 spotfire servers on the same windows machine given they use different ports. Allthough this is not recommended.

What do you mean by 2 different databases Spotfire databases, i.e. different spotfire libraries etc or something different

Hi Andreas. I mean databases as data source. In this case the datasources are 2 different Mongo databases. I plan to use different ports for each installation, of course, but  I can't run the installer a second time, the installer only gives me the option to uninstall or repair the software.

If you use the exact same version you will face issue with the installer and services. However it is possible to install 2 different versions on the same machine and make sure youprovide different available port nos. during the configuration.
