Forward slash in column names in Information link

We have many columns which contains foward or backward slash, for km/hr. But the slash gets removed. I tried to edit the SQL query for information link but it still doesn't work.

As of now I have used the option to transform and use - change column names. But this is very annoying as there are many different patterns. Also the number of columns are close 300-400.

The following characters are forbidden in column element names: / * " : < > |

So the forward/backward slash is also included in the forbidden list and this is by the design behavior which Spotfire is following from the beginning. Looking at your requirement it can be consider as an Enhancement Request.
