Geospatial capabilities - Is it possible to plot a new point on a map chart using the inputsgiven by the user

I'm currently using 10.3.9 version of Spotfire and would like to create a new functionality in my dashboard.Similar to dropping a pin on google maps I am curious if it is possible to click a point on my map and have spotfire generate a new point.I would ultimately like to be able to select a point on the map that is free of data points and have spotfire generate that new point using the inputsgiven by the user.

If you right-click on the map chart you'll get an option in the context menu to copy the map location's lat and long coordinates.

I am looking to pass this lat/long to an internal script for other purposes, do you know how this would be possible
