Joel Masciocchi
Dear Tibco community, I would like to know if there is a way to have multiple columns aslabel using structurecolumn. Right nowmy label contains only the structure column value but not the ID, I have to use the tooltip to visualize those two information. Iwould like to know if it is possible to have those 2 information in the label. Regards, Joel
Kirsten Smith (she/her)
You could create a new column using the concatenate() function, then use that column for your labels.
Joel Masciocchi
Hi KirstenS, Thanks for your reply. I know that we can concatenate columns to use themas label but in my case the structure column is a binary column which contains chemical data information. So it is not possible to use this solution, otherwise I will create a column whhose the value will be"BinaryID". Regards, Joel

Fabian Duerr
Please clarify your request with all available information and put some sample data here. I'm sure that we can find a solution.
Joel Masciocchi
Hi fabd, The structure column is a column which contains a compound (molecule) which is handled as a binary column in Spotfire. Therefore the concatenation function can not work because the label cannot be displayed if you choose a molecule renderer (error the structure is not valid) otherwise you will display "binary1" value (in the case of the ID is eqaul to 1) if you chosse the text renderer. Fabian Duerr
Joel, I'm not aware of binary columns in Spotfire. This is why I was interested in some sample data. It's always good to learn something new ;)
