Somsak Ma
I have a column of dates formated as dd-mm-yy (e.g. 15-01-16). When I apply parsedate([Date_column],"dd-mm-yy"), this function doesn't work. Specifically it always gets the MONTH wong. So parsedate("15-03-16","dd-mm-yy") results in 1/15/2016, and parsedate("20-06-16","dd-mm-yy") gives me 1/20/2016- the day and year is always correct but month always defaults to January. Any idea why
Gaia Paolini
Looking at the help for ParseDate, it looks like you need to specify the format as dd-MM-yy. I tried with your examples and it worked for me.
Somsak Ma
Fantastic, Gaia, thanks! Didn't realize upper and lower case makes such a difference. Thanks again.
