Overview
Spotfire® makes it easy for you to analyze data from any number of data sources. Using this data, you can create predictive models and apply advanced techniques within the Spotfire environment. You can also use R models and run them within Spotfire using the in-built Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R engine, as well a leveraging advanced analytics from SAS, MATLAB and databases. You can seamlessly go from data to charts, charts to charts and charts to data which gives you complete flexibility in how you want to analyze data and take advantage of advanced modeling techniques. You spend time generating insights from your data rather than working on logistics of data and multiple tools.
And once you create an analysis, you can easily share this interactive analysis with others via the Spotfire Library and Spotfire Web Player.

Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R
- Spotfire®'s enterprise-grade runtime for the R language
-
Software Required
- For desktop use, Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R is automatically Installed with Spotfire Desktop/Analyst, and you can use it directly. For example, you can configure RStudio to open the same Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R engine, and easily download and install CRAN packages for use with Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R.
- For cloud use, Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R is included on TIBCO Cloud™ Spotfire®. You can design data functions with Spotfire Analyst for TIBCO Cloud™ Spotfire®, and then publish them to TIBCO Cloud™ Spotfire®. You can use any of the nearly 600 CRAN packages also available on TIBCO Cloud™ Spotfire®. To review a list of the available packages, see http://spotfi.re/package-list.
- To use Spotfire® Enterprise Runtime for R in Spotfire Web applications, Spotfire Statistics Services is required.
