This article provides insights from the Spotfire User Group on how to adjust the number of records shown in table visualizations
Set the number of records displayed in table visualisations
Before Spotfire 7.8, the table visualization was limited to displaying a maximum of 10 000 rows of data from in-database data tables. This limit protects resources like memory and network bandwidth from potentially transferring and loading billions of rows.
From Spotfire 7.8, administrators now have the option to configure the row limit, so that analysts can visualize more rows without creating a second (on demand) in-memory data table. This is controlled via the DataImportPreferences > TableVisualisationExternalRowLimit.
