Cheap Onos
Hi All, I'm sure this is an easy solution, but I can't seem to find the correct reference. I would like to reference a calculated column valuewithin an IN function of a data limiting expression Example:[FinancialYear] IN () The'filterbyFY' column contains concatenated fiancial year values, e.g. 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020
Fabian Duerr
I'm not really sure what you try to achieve... Do you want to use the values that are check marked in your filterFY column If yes, why don't you just aplly this filter to your visualization Or do you want to limit your data with a fixed expression Then you can use for example [FinancialYear] IN ("2017/2018", "2018/2019") to filter to those years Can you please clarify
Cheap Onos
Thanks. I'm trying to limit the data with dynamic values. [FinancialYear] IN (<dynamic values>) - the dynamic value may be one or more FYs.
Fabian Duerr
So why does a regular filter does not work for you If you need to be independent of a filter you maybe could create a document property with the unique values of your filterFY column. Or a document property that takes a user string input. Then you could use the doc property in you expression. Maybe things get clearer when you upload some sample data here. Or at least some snapshots.
