TDV 8.3 and Spotfire (Null values cause connection to close/results never returned )

Recently upgrade Tibco Data Virutalization from 8.2 to 8.3. Several Spotfire reports began to fail in scheduled cache with a very generic message of {An exception was thrown by the data connection, or ado.NET- [1908512]} after a lot of troubleshooting I've narrowed it down to NULL values in the returning data.

*One DXP that was failing was failing on a particular query and once I rewrote it to have the value "None" instead of the [Null] that was being returned from TDV the table was able to load.

**This only seems to be an issues fromthe ado.net driver as well, when using a connection via an information link (jodbc driver) this issue does not happen.

Is there a way to resolve this other than rewriting all the queries to have IsNull() clauses. We have quite a bit of views, procedures , ect and tracking down each individual one thats causing an error is quite tedious and correcting all the queries would be daunting as well.
