How to integrate a HTML script into spotfire for a JavaScript Visualization

I am trying to recreate this force-directed network as seen here.http://bl.ocks.org/mbostock/2706022

I've been able to make the visual come up on as a Javascript Visualization but I am not able to interact with it. Is there something that I am missing in the contents

 

The d3.v3.min.js is linked to the D3 library, the phonenetwork.js has the Script portion found in the link above, and style.css has the style info from the link above.Is there something additional I need to add to make it interactive
