Tomasz Demski Posted July 31, 2020 Share Posted July 31, 2020 I am not able to enable any Statistica workspace in Spotfire, in particular correlation.sdm workspace downloaded from https://community.spotfire.com/wiki/how-build-statistica-data-functions-in-.... When I follow the instruction and try to open this workspace (or any other) I get error: Statistica Data Function creation failed: Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 10, position 14646. It seems, the problem is connected withthe system locale settings and occuring due to some concrete specialcharacters inseveral languages (like Japanese, Chinese, Polish). Our engineering is working to resolve this issue with loading the data functions. If you change system locale to English, data functions will work.
