TIBCO Spotfire Analyst 10.10.0 - An error occurred while logging in.

When I attempt to login to TIBCO Spotfire Analyst 10.10.0 desktop software, I get the following error:

 

Error message: Could not log in. Please try again.

AuthenticationException at Spotfire.Dxp.Services:

Could not authenticate user 'none'. (HRESULT: 80131501)

Stack Trace:

at Spotfire.Dxp.Services.Authenticator.ValidateAuthenticationFailure(SpotfireIdentity identity, WebException ex)

at Spotfire.Dxp.Services.Authenticator.Authenticate(SpotfireIdentity identity, PrincipalProvider provider)

at Spotfire.Dxp.Loader.LoginHandler.PerformLogin()

 

The browser hoever tells me that I have logged in successfully. Urgent help needed please.

Thanks however I found the solution myself. The userdidn't have an analyst subscription attached to it.

Ideally this should error in a more elegant way ie indicate that it is a subscription issue, it would avoid a lot of time spent investigating the error.
