Robert Eaton
I attempted to embed a video, recorded in Microsoft Stream, into a visualization in Spotfire. I created a text visual, edited HTML, and copied the embedded video code however I receive an error stating that "the element 'iframe' is not supported". This is a common element and I don't understand why it wouldn't be supported to make the product more user friendly. Is there a workaround for this other than turning HTML sanitation off which Ireally want to avoid if possible Thank you
Shandilya Peddi
Can you try to provide the URL of the video into an WebPage Panel and see if it helps and can be used as a workaround. https://docs.tibco.com/pub/sfire-analyst/10.10.0/doc/html/en-US/TIB_sfire-analyst_UsersGuide/index.htm#t=coll%2Fcoll_what_is_the_web_page_panel.htm
Robert Eaton
I found a different workaround for this issue. I simply used the snipping tool to capture a picture of the beginning of my video. I then took that picture, a .jpg, and pasted it into text box and then linked up the video to that .jpg. It's unfortunate that we need to look for workarounds to issues where solutions should be more intuitive.
