How to connect with Rest data in Spotfire 10.10

Newbie in Tibco Spotfire.

I have data provider with web application and can call data through api.

I found two posts related:

However, in spotfire 10.10, there is no advanced data services option available, I cannot use it.

For second ironpython script, it seems I must have table or data open first or the script option is grey out and cannot use at all. I would like to ask is there any way I can create an empty table or empty data.

I tried loading a csv file first and copy the script from the second post, however I cannot run the script. The option of run script is grey out after I paste the script code and add input parameters.
