Cannot open local .dxp files

Hi there.

I am running Spotfire 10.3.3 ( LTS )

I am trying to open a dashboard locally, so a .dxp file.

But I am getting the following error (for all files) , the file is the demo from above, and definitely in the right format, I tried a few different demos, but none work :

Error message: Unable to read the file .

FileLoadException at Spotfire.Dxp.Framework:

The file '...' cannot be opened. It may be damaged or in an unknown format. (HRESULT: 80131621)

This is an installation on a new machine. And I can not see the local folders from the Spotfire client either, only cloud folders are shown.

Any ideas on what causes this
