I'm trying to set up spotfire (desktop client) and it is asking for a server address. What do I put there

If it is asking for a Spotfire server URL then it is a TIBCO Spotfire Analyst instead of TIBCO Spotfire Desktop.

 

So if you have an inhouse/on-premise Spotfire Server then make use of it or reach out to the admin team. If you have downloaded the TIBCO Cloud Spotfire Analyst then make use ofhttps://spotfire-next.cloud.tibco.com/
