Peter Tusnadi
Hi All, We found an error inside Spotfire 10.3 but it is possibly reproducible in different Spotfire versions also. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a DXP which contains an embedded data table with transformations (that are read-only in this case) 2. Switch the datatable to linked ---> Problem: the transformations will be not editable (except the first block) Only saving and reopening the entire document can help to make the transformations editable again. See the attached screenshots for details.

Anders Gavare
As it says in screenshot 2, "Data cannot be shown for this part of the source tree, possibly because the data table was previously embedded". When you embed a data table, only the final data is saved, not the data in each individual step leading up to the final table. After you have switched to not embed the data, you need to reload the data from the data source(s). Otherwise, editing a transformation step is not possible (since it doesn't have the data to transform). One way is to save and reopen the analysis. Another way is to select Data -> Reload Linked Data.
