Mark Herrmann
In some cases you need to create a copy of an existing data table as described here. However, there is no comment on how Spotfire manages the memory usage in such a case. Does anyone know if a copy of the data effectively doubles the memory consumption or does the work "linked" indicate that there is actually something smarter going on in the background and I could go down that route if required even for larger data sets Thanks, Mark
Peter McKinnis
Mark, Spotfire is intelligent about managing the memory such that memory usage does not double when onelinks to or makes a copy of an existing data table in the analysis. If needed even for larger data sets, you could create another table from an already existing data table. - Peter
