Saving data for trending

Hi Guys

I have a data set that is created daily in the database in real-time ,but NOT saved historically. For example the data is created daily but not stored, which means the data for yesterday in not in the database anymore, only todays data, and that will be replaced by tomorrow's data etc. I need to create a line chart in spotfire that shows the daily trend for this data (just the first day of the month only), How do i go about capturing (saving) this data in spotfire to create an analysis that shows the data for the first day of the month for each monthfrom now on

You can follow this article of capturing/saving historical data in analysis itsel. You can apply filter as you need like first day of month only or 15 days only etc.
