4GMS STEE-InfoSoft Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 From my studying and installation experience,'Node' or 'Node Manager' is where the services (like Web Player, Automation Services) will run, although all management of the system is through the TIBCO Spotfire Server. Is it a 'separated small Spotfire server' It is better to have a clear concept of Node and Service. Is it a group of 'service' called Node Below link can have a practical concept of Node and Service: https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire_server/7.8.0/doc/html/TIB_sfire_serv...
Manoj Singh Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 A node manager is a container for setting up, running, or tearing down services such as Spotfire Automation Services, Spotfire Web Player, or TERR service. A service running on a node manager runs in a separate process, can open service ports and the service installation files resides under /services/
