Spotfire report is asking SharePoint credential on Web Player (SharePoint 365)

Hello,

I am loading the datausing Add Data Table --> SharePoint File option andproviding SharePoint URL keeping authentication mode as SharePoint Online (Office 365) and did not checked remember credential. Report is opening fine in client/application. However, it is asking credential on Web Player which I don't want because report is scheduled for cache.

 

Could someone please help me here to have some better way in fixing the issue on Web Player to avoid SharePoint Credential popup on Web Player Highly appreciate your effort if have any solution.

Connecting to office 365 sharepoint is currently an enhancement which is under consideration.

Please see below and vote for it https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/TS-I-5695It will work on analyst as your machine has already authenticated that sharepoint path. Supported files list do not have sharepoint file extension

 

One option you can give a try is to map like a network drive and then access those excel files.

which requires a separate license. In TDV you need to create and publish a view from the

Sharepoint Office 365 and then make use of TDV connector or Information designer in Spotfire

to connect to TDV.
