How to purge all data I imported into into Spotfire

How to purge all data I imported into into Spotfire So that it does not show up anywhere in the Spotfire application anywhere

Mark all the records in the data table and in viz properties , marked rows > delete. Then change the data table to embedded from linked to source (from Data Table properties) . Refresh all the datatables that are dependent on this data table. Save the dxp.

Reopen the dxp, prior data would be deleted. If you want to reload data from source, change data table to linked to source and refresh.
