I am having issues connecting an Analyst instance to the server. The error message reads: "The node manager ...com could not communicate with the supervisor spotfire...com at (date and time). Details: Heartbeat missed." What is this

The error message indicates a communication issue between the Spotfire server and the Node manager server.

Are you able to browse the Spotfire server URL (login successfully) from the machine where the Spotfire Analyst/Client is installed This needs to work only then can one connect from the Spotfire Analyst.

Usually adding the Spotfire Server URL using the "manage server" option will give a picture about connection issues.A screenshot of the error would help.
