If I apply "Formatting" on a number field does it remove precision

Hello, I would like to ask if I apply to format on a field in the data panel such as Latitude or Longitude that looks like that 53.44. If I apply formatting to that number to reduce the decimal points from 2 to 0, so the number becomes 53 would that reduce accuracyAccording to the Tibco docs, "the formatting of a column defines how the data in the column will be presented" so that infers that that is just how the number will be presented and should not affect accuracy, am I right by understanding it that way

Correct.

You can check by e.g. formatting to 0then back to 2digits and you get back the original number.

Correct, formatting only changes how it is presented, not how it is used in any calculations.
