SharePoint List View Threshold Reached

It seems we have reached the maximum amount of items we are allowed to pull over from SharePoint into Spotfire. I'm wondering if there is a work around through hard coding or something to pull the most recent items up until that threshold or to by-pass it completely. We are currently on Spotfire version 10.3.1. Here is the error message returned by Spotfire:

Error message: Could not read the selected data.
