Is there some way to implement an Exclude Filter in Spotfire like we have in Tableau

Exclude Filter - What i mean is when you select a value in a filter instead of filtering for that value, filter out that value and show everything else. Ie. precisely the reverse operation of currently existing filters.

There's a feature like this based on Marking. If you mark some records, then right-click and select 'Marked rows' there are options to "Filter to" or "Filter out" to show the desired records.

In addition to what Kirsten wrote, I often use Listbox filters with Checkboxes (I like using that combination), or Text Filters (filtering for 'NOT [value]') to filter out data. Example:
