How do we preserve the column External Name in a Spotfire Data Export

My data export files have theExternalName replaced with the presentation column Name.How do we preserve the original column ExternalName in a Spotfire Data Export

 

Current Behavior: original data (to be exported as .stdf or .sbdf) -> imported data

 

Name: "Sales Region" ExternalName: "region_revenue" ->Name: "Sales Region" ExternalName: "Sales Region"

 

 

Desired Behavior: original data (to be exported as .stdf or .sbdf) -> imported data

 

Name: "Sales Region" ExternalName: "region_revenue" ->Name: "Sales Region" ExternalName: "region_revenue"

 

 

 

I believe this can be done as I have a project with the original ExternalName in the imported .stdf. I cannot recreate the process to not lose theExternalName.
