How do I convert two different types of field into one date field

Hello, I have two different types of columns I'd like to combine into a single date. The data currently looks somethinglike:

Month (String): Year (Integer):

Jan 2018

Feb 2019

Mar 2019

Apr 2018

It would be nice if it could come out something like Mon-YYYY or a slight variation.

I'd like to use this field to calculate a balance over the most recent 3 months.

This worked for me. You need two calculated columns.

Cal_Column1

[Month] & "-" & [Year]

CalColumn2.....Use the Conversion function

Date([Cal_Column1])
