Can Spotfire 10 layout be changed to look more like version 7

The new version of spotfire included major design changes such as collapsed top tool menu, bottom page navigation, double spacing in Tags & Lists panels and most notably a new search feature which attempts to suggest tools/visualizations. These are all great features for a neat demo of spotfire to someone who is new but to seasoned power users who always know what vizualitions they want and need to maintain visibility of lists etc... the upgrade to 10 just seems to have added many more mouse clicks and intermediate steps for the same funcionality.

Is it possible to adjust spotfire 10.4 (or future versions) to look a lot more like the last version 7 layouts if not then when will support/hotfixes be terminated for version 7

There is not a way to change the overall UI to look like pre-Spotfire X. If you have specific suggestions about issues/improvements about the program you can suggest them on our Ideas Portal here:

We just released our latest LTS version, 10.3, which means that the last LTS version, 7.11, will be supported for approximately 12 months, or summer/fall of 2020.
