Can you eleborate your question Where are you trying to refresh the data and what is the data source

I created some variables via doc Prop and used a text form/area to input keywords for a calculated column. I have several keyword text boxes and every time I enter a keyword the visualization updates. I will like to stop the visualization from updating automatically.

Hi Nick,

I am guessing the spotfire visualizations have some expressions used with document properties in the "Limit Data using expression" section.

right click the visualization, goto Properties>Data>"limit data using expression:" section and try to remove the expression and see if this helps.

If this does not help, can you attach sample dxp file.
