Why I get "This visualization does not support external data from cubes." error when using Box Plot

Hello! I am trying to figure out why I am getting this error "This visualization does not support external data from cubes." when I add a Box Plot to my Analysis file. I am using Spotfire Analyst:

 

 

Does that mean that I can't use this type of visualization with my Microsoft SQL database

Hello,

It is not possible to view detailed, unaggregated data from cube data sources

(such as Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SAP BW, Essbase, etc.) in TIBCO Spotfire.

Since the Table visualization and the Details-on-Demand (D-o-D) visualization only show unaggregated data,they are not supported for cube data sources. You will see this error message whenever such a visualization is configured to use a data table that obtains its data from a cube data source.

This behavior is as designed, and the error message is the expected result.

Other visualization types must be used instead, and they must be configured to show aggregated data results.
