Shandilya Peddi
Here is the sample script to toggle the filter creation option from Spotfire.Dxp.Data import * table= Document.Data.Tables["dataTableName"] bool=table.AutoCreateFilters if bool: table.AutoCreateFilters=False else: table.AutoCreateFilters=True
Emmanuel Chukwunyere 2
Thanks for your answer, but it says 'DataTable' object has no attribute 'AutoCreateFilters'
Shandilya Peddi
That could be because this API was introduced in 10.1 , so it will only work in 10.1 and above. I assume you are currently on an earlier version and thus getting the error. https://docs.tibco.com/pub/doc_remote/sfire_dev/area/doc/api/TIB_sfire-analyst_api/topic=html/P_Spotfire_Dxp_Data_DataTable_AutoCreateFilters.htm
Emmanuel Chukwunyere 2
I'm trying it on Spotfire Analyst 7.14. The production version is 7.0.
Shandilya Peddi
The provided script will not work in this version of Spotfire, you will have to be on 10.1 or later versions. Unfortunately there is no API available in your version
