Binning data limited using marking

Spotfire 7.12.0

I can't seem to AutoBin Data that is limited by marking. The AutoBin seems to think it is using the whole dataset rather thanonly what is marked. I am sure that the data is properly limited.

You're right, I cannot reduce the x scale by binning (any binning function) neither by marking nor by filtering. I need to inquire, as I thought there was an idea on the ideas portal that had been implemented.
