Slow performance exporting a data table from the desktop to the Library

We're seeing something odd on just one Spotfire server. Retrieving data tables into the desktop is fine; exporting them back to the server is very slow - around ten times slower than on the other servers. We're investigating networks etc, but I was wondering if anyone has seen this or has any other suggestions please.

The data tables are quite big, so the increase in elapsed time is quite noticable. One other symptom - the row counter progresses at the same speed as the other servers, and network throughput is high too, but the time between that finishing and the final completion message is what is taking much longer than usual.

Your ITteam will be able to have a look at this and see if it's something to do with that specific server. It canbe related to resources on that specific server.

We're not seeing resource limitations at all, on the client PC, Spotfire server or database server.
