Ni No
Hello, I am trying to use the SOAP service to update an analysis. I built a client by using visual studio and I am able to execute the update analysis task. However, after about 40 minutes the cache seems no longer available as the data is restored from the DB. I tried to solve this issue by setting an higher value in the KeepAlive parameter but nothing has changed. Do you have any hint about this Thanks and Regards
Andrew Berridge
Hi There, The KeepAlive setting just determines how longweb player user sessions are active without any interaction from the user. I think you need to set up a rule for the file that you're trying to work with in Scheduling and Routing (in the administration console). Set the schedule to keep the analysis in memory during the periods you want to keep it loaded. Set update interval to 0. Then access the additional properties and set the update method to manual. Let me know if you struggle - I'll provide a screenshot or two. Andrew Berridge (TIBCO Data Science) View my book on Spotfire!
Ni No
Hi Andrew, thanks for your comment. I actually was just testing this very same solution waiting to see if the cache will expire or not. The cache is set from an hour right now and it still holds.Your comment confirms that this is the right way to go! Thank you very much!
