How to call an external SOA web service from spotfire

Hello All,

In my spotfire application i have a lineof data selected in this line i have a field called "PO".

When the user click on a Button, i must call a SOA web service to retreive from an other application a pdf file.

1) put the contents of the "PO" field in a parameter

2) call the web service to retreive the pdf data

3) diplay the pdf file.

i know how to do the point 1, but i don't know if calling a web service is possible from spotfire.

 

do you have informations or link concerning this subject
