Getting Error while trying to connect TIBCO DV workspace from spotfire

Hi,

We have built few business data views in TIBCO DV and are trying to invoke these through Spotfire to build visual charts; While trying to connect the TDV from spotfire we are getting an error and the error message isn't indicative of what exactly is the stop gap; whilst we are able to establish a connection to the TDV workspace (as the connection is hitting the TDV and the published view in TDV is available in the database options, there pops out an error message when we try to click ok on the TDV connection form;

The error message reads : 'Could not connect due to an unknown error' and there is just a message of 'Connection failed';

we are new to Spotfire and any pointers on this would be of great help! Thank you.

Hi,

I assume you are referring to the flows you create in the WebUI in TDV 8.4 correct

Depending on the version of Spofire you are using this will require you to apply the workaround descripbed in:
