Exact value match for List Box Filter not available

Consider an example where there are two values in List Box filter as ABC and ABC2. Now is there any way to find only ABC (Exact match) and nothing like contains or Like.

I have tried "ABC" , ^"ABC"$, 'ABC' ,(ABC) - Nothing is working.

Hello!

What exact Spotfire version are you using (e.g. check the Help menu > About dialog) Using quotation marks - "ABC" in your example - *should* have given you the exact match you were looking for. I did a quick test in the latest version (TIBCO Spotfire Analyst 10.1), as well as in the 7.11 LTS version, which confirmed this - see attached screenshot (10.1 to the left, 7.11 to the right).

 

 

 

If you take a look in the Help, the page "Searching in TIBCO Spotfire" describes the available search options.
