Creating dynamically filter SpotfireControl in TextArea with IronPython

Hi All,

Is it possibe to create a filter SpotfireControl into a TextArea dynamically I would like to create filters on the fly. When the dashboard is opened then a pyhton script reads the columns of the datatableand generates the filters into the TextArea.

I know it ispossible to do with .NET/C# but with lots of work.

Do you have a good idea for this

Currently there is no API to create Spotfire Controls in the Text Area and so it would not be possible to create Filters in Text Area dynamically.I would suggest you file an enhancement request for that feature in the Ideas portal linked above: http://ideas.tibco.com/
