Gordon Macleod
I have a map in shapefile format and I would like to add it into my spotfire file. Is there a demo, to show me how to do that Thanks Gordon
Kirsten Smith (she/her)
You should have a collection of files with extensions like .shp, dbf, shx, etc, they should all be in a single folder on your computer. Open Spotfire, click on File/Open (or File/Add Data Table) and select the .shp file. Spotfire will read it, along with all of the companion files in that folder, and create a map chart. Georgi Koemdzhiev
Would the resulting chart work in the WebPlayer I am facing problems when it comes to opening the analysis file (after I have imported the shapefile + accompanying files) in the WebPlayer
Kirsten Smith (she/her)
Shouldn't be a problem in the webplayer. Is the problem that your shapefile data isn't showing up Or is the background map layer that's missing That information comes from an AWS instance, so if your Node Manager machine doesn't have access to an external URL it will result in an error.
