Cagatay Senturk Posted November 20 Posted November 20 (edited) I am experiencing an issue with a combination chart and would appreciate any assistance in resolving it. Let's say I have this data; I would like to use column A as a bar and column B as a line while keeping the date as the X-axis. However, I am unable to switch between bar and line per Y-axis element in the Series tab. This issue does not occur on my colleague's PC. I have reset my default options and restarted the application multiple times, but this did not resolve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue, or can someone from Spotfire assist me? I don't see the columns in Series tab so I can't change the types. Application settings for combination chart; Details of the application. Edited November 20 by Cagatay Senturk Added the built number and date
David Boot-Olazabal Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hi Cagatay, That is kind of weird, as I'm perfectly able to see the series (I'm on Spotfire 14.4): I have added my version, using your data set. Can you open the attached dxp file and see if you are able to see the series? If not, I'll try to see if I can replicate the same behavior in SF14.0. Kind regards, David CombiChart_Cagatay.dxp
Solution Cagatay Senturk Posted November 20 Author Solution Posted November 20 Hi @David Boot-Olazabal, Thank you for your reply. I think I've found the problem. The problem is that I had a "Default categorical color scheme" that I assigned at the application level and having a document color scheme with a single color doesn't really work well with Combination Chart. When I removed it, everything went back to normal. I think it's some kind of bug. I would appreciate it if you could report this to the developers. You can also replicate the same problem on your PC by assigning your application a document color scheme that has only one color.
David Boot-Olazabal Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hi Cagatay, Right, yeah I have been able to reproduce it. You could always create an enhancement request for this via https://ideas.spotfire.com but it would be better to get support involved. Therefore, I suggest to create a support ticket for this issue via https://support.tibco.com. Kind regards, David
