j2.miller
I am running Spotfire Analyst version 11.4.7.42 on Windows 10 and would like to set it up to access a MySQL database. I followed these instructions on installing the Oracle MySQL data connector and installed mysql-connector-odbc-9.0.0-winx64. I then restarted Analyst and followed these instructions to add the MySQL data connection to the library. However, in step 2 I'm supposed to have a MySQL option but it is not showing up. What step am I missing here? Cheers John
Olivier Keugue Tadaa
Thanks J2.miller If you have properly installed the driver and have also deployed the connectors then the connector should show up when you click on "Connect to..." Presuming your driver installation is fine, can you check if you have this module installed ? From the Help menu, "support diagnostic and logging", you should see this module. j2.miller
Hi Olivier - Yes, I have that MySql dll installed (Spotfire.Dxp.Forms.Data.Adapters.MySql.dll: 51.7.18423.2966; 51.7.18423.2966)
Olivier Keugue Tadaa
For some reasons the driver check is failing. Have raised a support ticket ? They will ask for logs and analyse them to find the root cause
