Sundaram Sridharan
I have a scatter plot with a color by defined from a column. I have a linked table that has unique values of that column. As I click through the rows in that column, the color of scatterplot dots change. However I want to fix the colors such that if there is only one category selected then always select the same single color. If I multi select rows from that table then display the different categories in different colors. In other words I want to set it up so the first selected category color is, say, is blue always, the second one red, etc. regardless what the values are for the color by attribute. Is that possible through scripting?
Gaia Paolini
You can assign a colour scheme to a column so it always uses the same colour scheme. From the top menu, go to Data > column properties then select a column. Go to the Properties tab and edit either the DefaultContinuousColorScheme or the DefaultCategoricalColorScheme. You will need to type the name of the colour scheme manually.

Gaia Paolini
depending on the type of scheme, continuous or categorical, edit the property DefaultContinuousColorScheme or DefaultCategoricalColorScheme and type the name of the scheme manually.
