log in in data source in my pc only

Hi,

 

In my computer only I encounter this problem when I open a analysis prepared by Ericsson. while some other computer do not have this problem.

 

Anyone has such experience?

Make sure you have the following settings for your data source:

Hi Enkeled,

If you don't have any (direct) data connections , there are two options left.

Data is either coming from Information Links or from an ODBC DSN. In the first case, the underlying data source probably has user authentication active (instead of a generic user/password as I have in the below example):

In the latter case, an ODBC DSN,  you only have one option to set the credentials, and that is when you define the connection for the first time.
I that is your use case, then you can follow the procedure as explained in this article (as you need to replace the original data source with itself, but this time with 'Allow saving credentials' checked):

Hi David,

That should be ODBC connection configuration in my PC. we will try tomorrow and let you know. I have no problem when opening analysis with information link as data source but can not open that with ODBC. By the way from web I can open it without problem. All this happens in client.

It is strange though, as it should either fail on web and client alike, or pass through.

The configuration on PC of the ODBC fixed this as shown on attached image.

Look at the image which we find by searching ODBC on windows search.
