jchung
I am trying to use the Process Diagram mod and draw dotted lines to connect steps within the process, but I am not seeing it in the documentation or in spotfire. David Boot-Olazabal
Hi jchung, Do you mean you can't find the mod? If so, you can find it in our Exchange: If not, what are you not seeing? Kind regards, David
Glenn Hoskins
Hi, Its currently not possible to directly set the stroke dasharray on the Transitions between Activities in the process diagram. However, it is written to make dashed lines if the end Activity of a Transition is marked as being optional or conditional. Note in this screenshot between Validate Invoice > Secondary Invoice Validation steps. To indicate that an Activity is optional/conditional, you need to set an expression on the Conditional axis that evaluates to true. This will only apply to Activity rows, and it should be on the terminal Activity for a Transition. In this example that would be the Secondary Invoice Validation row. Have a look at this specific section of the doc here: https://community.spotfire.com/articles/spotfire/process-diagram-mod/#wiki-header-10. Also, if you haven't done so, I'd suggest taking a look at the sample DXP included in the Github repository as well. That will help you get a feel for how the data and axes are setup. https://github.com/spotfiresoftware/spotfire-mod-process-diagram/blob/main/sample/process-diagram.dxp Glenn
