Accessing Spotfire Dashboard through URL with Saved Database Credentials and Automating Daily Data Refresh

I have created a dashboard where I connected to a database using an ODBC driver. I then uploaded it to the Spotfire library. Now, whenever I try to access the Spotfire dashboard using a URL, it prompts me to enter the username and password of the database. Is there any way to use saved credentials securely or bypass this prompt? I want to refresh the data every day.

Hi Saloni,

When you create your connection to the ODBC data source, there is an option to save the password in the connection. If you check this box, which is easily overseen, you shouldn't get prompted anymore:

The username and password are stored unencrypted in the analysis though (you'll see the message when hovering over the blue i icon).
