How to export table by write.csv2 terr and data function to external patch

I want to include a botton to excel export in my analysis. I may used in a web client  and It may download in an specific path (not in web player or terr  server) or in user PC. At this moment its download in spotfire server.

Could you help me?

Hi Gerardo,

You may find some inspiration on this page: Spotfire Iron Python examples.

But end users can also use the inbuilt functionality to export data (Menu File >> Export >> Data to file):

This will provide the end user with different options to export data from (data table/visualization) and in which format (default is .csv, but .txt, .xlsx are amongst the options):

This may be easier/quicker to achieve then creating an iron python script, as it works in the Analyst and Web Player (you need to give the end user the privilege to do so of course).
