Andrew Zarins 2
Custom Connector for Spotfire® to Connect to Azure Databricks versions: 16 17 Problem The Custom Connector for Spotfire to Connect to Azure Databricks displays Unknown Publisher message for the following packages. This occurs in versions v16 and v17 of the connector. We would like this issue corrected so there is no prompt to the end user as it causes concerns for end users security. Azure Databricks Custom Connector AddIn.cab Azure Databricks Custom Connector Forms.cab Azure Databricks Custom Connector Core.cab I downloaded and deployed the latest AzureDatabricksCustomConnector_12.0.17.0.sdn, yet the same unknown publisher message is present. Andrew Zarins 2
The signing certificate for this package needs to be updated. Is this targeted to be resolved by Spotfire?
Dave Leigh
Hi Andrew Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The problem was caused by the signing server timestamp not getting added to the signature. So even though the certificate was valid when the package was signed, it does not validate now. I am working on getting a newly signed version uploaded. Cheers Dave
