So please let us know your "how do I" or "how could I" Spotfire ideas so that we continue to help you be as successful with Spotfire as possible!
Jonthan T. Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I've never worked with OData before, but we have a new vendor where some of our data can be accessed through an OData connection. Could you maybe give an overview of what OData is and what are the best ways to get it set up and brought in for my engineers to begin viewing and analyzing data from an OData source?
Solution Amanjotsingh Gill Posted November 12 Solution Posted November 12 Hi Jonathan, There are quite a few resources online to learn about OData and how to set that up. One such is, https://www.odata.org/getting-started/basic-tutorial/ In Spotfire, to connect you can use the OData Connector without installing any additional software on your computer. For more details, see https://docs.tibco.com/pub/sfire-analyst/latest/doc/html/en-US/TIB_sfire-analyst_UsersGuide/index.htm#t=connectors%2Fodata%2Fodata_details_on_odata_connection.htm 1
u.haku Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Hello, Is there any tutorial for me to start learning Ironpyhton in spotfire? Thoes example scripts are difficult to understand. So I hope there can be a tutorial for beginner.
David Boot-Olazabal Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Hi u.haku, You can find lots of iron python tutorials on the internet. They are generic of nature. If you want to combine it with Spotfire, this is a good way to start:Â https://www.sf-ref.com/introduction/. I believe that some of the tutorials and the reference guide will get you up to speed, so you can better understand/read the snippets that we have available here. Kind regards, David
